What is Aiki-Jiu Jitsu? - aiki jiu jitsu dvds courses

I searched everywhere. Even Wikipedia says that history. Combined Aikido and Jiu Jitsu? What are some techniques?

From what I heard and read "Aiki-Jitsu, or variant spellings and the same has been either as a mediator between Daito-ryu jujitsu and aikido, or another complete branch / development of Daito-ryu.

Sometimes I saw the term is used synonymously with Aiki-budo, but most sources seem to be incorrect. In addition, some modern schools, with the name of Aiki-Jitsu, in fact, aikido dojo (s) that the practice of "hard" style of aikido.

When I create to be understood correctly, the founder of Aikido, Ueshiba studied Daito Ryu Morehei Aikijujitsu in Sokaku Takeda, and then integrate knowledge from other arts Aikijujitsu own art of aikido. Daito Ryu Aikijujitsu should have formed a kind of Jiu-Jitsu from Takeda. Son of Takeda and more developed, later renamed the Aiki-Budo.

Daito-Ryu Aiki-Jutsu is the precursor of several Japanese martial arts budo, that modern Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu and its derivatives.

It is essentially a mixed softer version of jujitsu with the main elements of Aikido.
